Cyclego Returns & Refund Policy

At Cyclego, we stand behind the quality of our products and offer a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Please note that change of mind returns are not eligible for a refund or exchange under this guarantee.

When the 30-Day Guarantee Applies:

  • The product is in its original unused condition and packaging.

  • The product is substantially different from what was ordered.

  • The product is returned by the original purchaser, and a valid receipt is provided.

  • The product has major manufacturing faults, defects, or failures.

When the 30-Day Guarantee Does Not Apply:

  • Products are damaged, and the damage is not due to a manufacturer fault.

  • Products are not in new, unused condition or in the original packaging.

  • External factors such as acts of God or natural disasters affect the product.

  • Change of mind or simply not liking the product.

  • Misuse of the product leading to faults, failures, or damage.

  • Orders placed more than 30 days from the original purchase date.

  • Issues unrelated to the product’s quality or performance.

Minor Faults:

A minor manufacturing fault or defect, such as squeaking sounds from a chain needing lubrication or incorrect gear adjustments, will not be eligible for a refund but will be subject to immediate repair.

Major Faults:

Products with major faults are eligible for a refund. A major fault is defined as serious damage to multiple components of the product (e.g., a bike or scooter with significant damage beyond reasonable repair due to a manufacturing fault).

Important Notes:

  • If you have asked us to perform a task, service, or repair that is illegal, immoral, or unsafe, we may decline any refund or warranty request.

Returning Items to Us:

If you need help with the return shipping, our team can assist in arranging a courier pickup for your product, provided it is securely boxed and packed safely.

To process your return, we will require your receipt or proof of purchase with your name on it. Please do not return items directly to the manufacturer.

Return Shipping:

Once your return request is approved, our team will provide the correct return address and inform you whether you need to cover the return shipping costs, as this may not always be covered by Cyclego.

  • If your return involves shipping an item worth over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive the returned item without tracking.

Partial Refunds:

We may issue partial refunds in certain situations, such as:

  • The product is not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts not due to our error or a manufacturer fault.

  • The return request is made outside of the 30-day return window.

  • The issue is related to external factors not connected to the product itself.

Exchanges:

Exchanges are only offered for items deemed defective or damaged beyond reasonable repair. Exchanges or refunds will not be offered for change of mind or preference-related reasons.
